Greeley Volunteer Opportunities

Greeley Active Adult Center is committed to providing a variety of opportunities that encourage active lifestyles. Adults aged 50 and above can socialize at the center, whether through trips or while participating in one of the many programs (clubs, sports, and games to name a few). Volunteers can assist with the programs and provide support at the front desk.

Volunteers help to provide fun therapeutic recreation programs and services to individuals in the community who have physical or intellectual disabilities. Volunteer as a group and help out with our special events or as an individual and help with our weekly programs!

Boards and Commissions are groups of citizen volunteers that study special community issues and provide direction, comment and recommendations to the City Council. These 24 groups are the voice of the community; they influence public policy and programming decisions that can affect the entire city.

Linn Grove Cemetery uses volunteers for a variety of facility maintenance and occasionally for office management. This might include raking leaves, fixing fencing, repairing and cleaning gravesites, and helping staff with a variety of activities. Volunteer at Linn Grove to enjoy our beautiful and historic cemetery.

Our museums offer many different opportunities for those who want to volunteer. A multitude of interests and skills can be showcased at one of our four sites, either behind the scenes or working with the public. Volunteers can research, catalog and preserve artifacts, participate in demonstrations at Centennial Village, or design, build and maintain exhibits. Serve your community while exploring the past and learning new skills.

At the Rodarte Community Center we encourage youth to grow into responsible adults by participating in positive activities after school and during the summer months. Volunteers are needed to assist with our after school tutoring program, our Fun in the Sun summer program, and more!

This volunteer group provides 24-hours, seven days a week assistance to victims of violent crime and survivors of sudden death. On-call volunteers respond to crime scenes at the request of emergency responders and assist victims/survivors. You must be 19 years old and pass a background check to volunteer.

Youth Sports Programs develop the physical, psychological and social aspects for youth. Our programs emphasize participation, fun, sportsmanship and promote a non-competitive, recreational approach to sports. We are always looking for assistance in youth sports.
