8th Avenue Survey

The City of Greeley recently received a State Historical Fund grant from History Colorado to conduct a historic resource survey along 8th Avenue between 10th and 16th Streets. The intent of the survey is to simply gather information on the history and architectural character of the properties in the area, which was historically the area known as “Motor Row.” Consultant Carl McWilliams of Cultural Resource Historians completed the survey project, including photographing all buildings, doing basic research and more detailed research on several properties within the survey area. The report with the survey results and recommendations, as well as the individual survey forms, are available for download.
